I think relocating turtles’ nest elsewhere on the beach/hatcheries and releasing them into the ocean amounts to intervention in the natural process of hatching and movement towards the seas.

However, I can understand that this might be required for saving the last few of the remaining olive ridley populations nesting on the coromandel coast, but it seems to me as a temporary solution, and unless the residents/locals are made aware of the problems caused by illumination of the beach, this problem can not be solved.
